Eka Kevanishvili was born in 1979 in Tbilisi. In 2002, she graduated from the Department of International Journalism in Georgia and, since 2008, has worked as a reporter for the Tbilisi bureau of Radio Liberty. She has worked for the newspapers Rezonansi, Akhali Versia (New Version), and others. She has published three other poetry collections: "Rumors" (2006, Diogene Publishing), "Don't Stand Here" (2010, Diogene Publishing), and "Sell the House" (2013, Saunje Publishing). All three were nominated for the Saba Literature Prize, and the latter received the award for best poetry collection.
